Rich, detailed and glowing with colour, this wide bowl is painted in deep cobalt blue at the rim, brightening to turquoise towards the centre. A crowded border of raised daisies in green, white, orange and red circles the edge, with golden tulips curling between them. Fans of red sprays lead to a ring of fine white lace, which frames a red centre filled with orange fans, teal petals and white scrollwork around a bright orange sunburst. The outside is a deep cobalt blue fading to turquoise near the base, scattered with white dots and red flowers, and a black rim frames the inside.
The pattern is painted in raised, textured detail, so you can see and feel every petal and dot. Every bowl in our collection is handmade and hand-painted in Turkey, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you’ll receive the exact bowl shown in the photos.
At 30cm, it’s a generous centrepiece for a dining table, console or sideboard, and it also looks lovely on a shelf where the pattern can be admired from above. It makes a memorable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art. This is a decorative piece only.
