Bold and intricate, this wide bowl is built around a large, lotus-shaped mandala. Rows of red petals, outlined in fine white dots and filled with golden tulips, open outward from a glowing orange centre ringed in turquoise beads and finished with a ring of black dots around a white sunburst. Beyond the petals, patches of fresh green scrollwork and a deep, dark green border are scattered with raised daisies in sky blue, orange and white, with golden tulips curling between them. A black rim frames the inside.
The pattern is painted in raised, textured detail, so you can see and feel every petal and dot. Every bowl in our collection is handmade and hand-painted in Turkey, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you’ll receive the exact bowl shown in the photos.
At 30cm, it’s a generous centrepiece for a dining table, console or sideboard, and it also looks lovely on a shelf where the pattern can be admired from above. It makes a memorable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art. This is a decorative piece only.
