Dramatic and glowing, this wide bowl fades from a deep midnight black at the rim through crimson red to a blazing orange centre, like embers in a fire. A ring of raised daisies in orange, sky blue, white, burgundy and green circles the dark edge, with golden tulips and curling swirls reaching inward. Below them, bands of fine white lace and orange sprays lead to the centre, where a white star-shaped flower surrounds a green and orange sunburst. A braided white and black edge frames the rim, and the outside is a deep charcoal black scattered with tiny white dots.
The pattern is painted in raised, textured detail, so you can see and feel every petal and dot. Every bowl in our collection is handmade and hand-painted in Turkey, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you’ll receive the exact bowl shown in the photos.
At 26cm, it’s a generous centrepiece for a dining table, console or sideboard, and it also looks lovely on a shelf where the pattern can be admired from above. It makes a memorable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art. This is a decorative piece only.
