Rich, ornate and full of detail, this wide bowl is painted in deep royal blue that melts into burgundy red towards the centre. A ring of raised daisies in orange, yellow, white, sky blue, green and red circles the rim, with golden tulips and curling swirls reaching inward. At the heart, a star of arched red petals, outlined in fine white dots and filled with tiny flowers, opens around panels of white lacy scrollwork and a turquoise centre blooming with golden and orange flowers. A braided white and black edge frames the rim, and the outside is a deep royal blue with orange flowers near the base.
The pattern is painted in raised, textured detail, so you can see and feel every petal and dot. Every bowl in our collection is handmade and hand-painted in Turkey, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you’ll receive the exact bowl shown in the photos.
At 26cm, it’s a generous centrepiece for a dining table, console or sideboard, and it also looks lovely on a shelf where the pattern can be admired from above. It makes a memorable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art. This is a decorative piece only.
