Rich, glowing and full of detail, this wide bowl is painted in deep royal blue at the rim, brightening to turquoise and then opening onto a blazing red centre. Rows of raised daisies in orange, burgundy, white, green and yellow circle the border, with golden tulips and curling swirls between them. A ribbon of white lace-like scrollwork encircles the centre, where golden tulips burst outward in a sunburst around a turquoise flower. The outside is a deep royal blue fading to turquoise near the base, scattered with white dots and orange flowers, and a black rim frames the inside.
The pattern is painted in raised, textured detail, so you can see and feel every petal and dot. Every bowl in our collection is handmade and hand-painted in Turkey, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, and you’ll receive the exact bowl shown in the photos.
At 30cm, it’s a generous centrepiece for a dining table, console or sideboard, and it also looks lovely on a shelf where the pattern can be admired from above. It makes a memorable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art. This is a decorative piece only.
