Working from the rim inwards, this large floral plate opens with a rich cherry red outer background, deepened with crimson, ruby and burgundy flowers and edged with lemon and golden yellow blooms. Inside the red frame, the design drops into a dramatic midnight navy centre, where royal and cobalt blue petals, turquoise flowers and petrol blue shading take over, warmed by burnt orange and tangerine accents. Emerald and olive-green foliage, deep plum details, ivory paisley shapes and fine charcoal outlines complete the pattern.
Every plate in our collection is handmade and hand-painted, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art for your wall, and you’ll receive the exact plate shown in the photos.
At 50cm, it makes a commanding centrepiece for a feature wall above a sofa, sideboard, fireplace or bed. The bold red and deep blue look especially striking against white, cream or soft grey walls. It can also be displayed on a large plate stand on a sideboard or console table (stand not included), and it makes an unforgettable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art.
