Working from the outside in, this large floral plate begins with a glowing golden tangerine border, lit with marigold yellow highlights and olive-green scrolling foliage. Burnt orange and rust flowers lead the eye inward to a dramatic midnight navy background, where turquoise and teal daisy-like blooms circle a rich ruby red centre shaded with crimson and burgundy. Ivory paisley shapes, fine scrollwork and powder blue outlines pull the whole design together.
Every plate in our collection is handmade and hand-painted, and no two are alike. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art for your wall, and you’ll receive the exact plate shown in the photos.
At 50cm, it’s a bold centrepiece for a feature wall above a sofa, sideboard, fireplace or bed. The warm border and deep navy background suit cream, white and soft neutral walls especially well. It can also be displayed on a large plate stand on a sideboard or console table (stand not included), and it makes an unforgettable gift for a housewarming, a wedding or anyone who loves handmade art.
